Taking a few moments to remember you today Dawn as you are laid down to rest today. Such a beautiful kind and compassionate soul, Dawn your kindness was a great source of comfort to me and so many. Beautiful, kind and caring to those around you always making everyone feel so looked after and happy in your company. Your energy shone bright whenever you would enter the room and people naturally gravitated towards you. These are not just just words you really truly touched the hearts those around you, a wonderful mother and beautiful friend your kindness will be with me forever. I am honestly so heartbroken by your passing but I will remember you always in my head and heart and your kindness, beauty and light will stay with me always. You were also so courageous and fierce in your own gentle way also which I always admired so much, shine bright beautiful lady, you really were so special. Thinking of your boys today who I know you loved so much, rest peacefully beautiful Dawn you will be truly missed ❤️Xx

Dear Dawn, it has been decades since I saw you last but I remember you so fondly I felt I had to write. Thank you for being such a good friend to me regardless of the age gap. You treated me like an adult and I always felt at ease in your company. You always made me feel welcome in your home and we had lots of laughs and tears at our regular lunch meet ups. I know you will be missed terribly by your lovely sons who I had the pleasure of knowing for many years but you will live on in them and your granddaughter. Sending lots of love. I have lots of memories with you from when I was little and you always had the biggest smile whenever I saw you. It may be that I was running at you at 100mph but your eyes would go really wide and light up and you’d smile and laugh. I loved that. Lately I’ve been seeing butterflies everywhere, usually it’s a robin now and then and I like to think it’s Nan saying hello but this past week it’s been butterflies. Out in a walk with Jacob they appeared everywhere and I thought of you. Then a few days later one trying to get in my back door, so I opened it and it was flying all around me before flying off and again I thought of you. Deep down I hope it’s you… miss you forever aunty Dawn. Love you loads, Becky xxx

I have so many lovely memories of you. From when I was little, cycling round to your house with my brother Ian to spend days with you in the summer holidays. To one of my favourite memories, Sunday lunch last year. What a lovely day we all had. Laughing and chatting so much even the people at the table next to us joined in. It was really strange going on holiday and not calling you before hand and having the usual “don’t forget to pack your pants” conversation. Love you and miss you.
